About Afrinest
Afrinest Farm Projects (Pty) Ltd is involved with the farming of moringa, cassava and honey as well as the skilling of emerging farmers. Our operation benefits the communities of the Mopani, Maruleng and Vhembe Districts.
We have been mobilising local farmers to plant moringa and use the leaves for themselves and their livestock. We purchase moringa seeds from these farmers. We need as many seeds as possible in order to produce moringa oil.
Bees play an important part in farming and moringa farms also encourage bees to remain in the area. This is being done in collaboration with ARC, the local agriculture department and universities.
Our moringa products are sold through our wholesalers who transform the products into different product categories. We ensure the quality sold to wholesalers is of a high standard and has been tested for nutrient contents.
We also have our shops and distributors who use small branded kiosks and tricycles to reach as many consumers including pension pay points, churches, taxi ranks, community halls and even schools.

The Challenges We Face
Community nurseries, bee hives, farm research centres, laboratory equipment, farm machines and working capital are still part of our challenges. The lack of these will prolong the amount of time we have to achieve our objectives.
We appeal to the government, NGOs, angel donors and sponsors to assist our farm financially so that we can help as many people as possible.
